This is :iconiwarriorpoet: 's completed commission of a tribal wolf family.

:bulletred: I do apologize for the obnoxious watermarks but they have been put in place to help cut down on the prolific theft of my artwork as well as to protect the commissioned art that was designed for my clients' use. It is an intensely frustrating thing seeing a design you worked so hard to create being reposted or even sold elsewhere without your knowledge or consent and that does not even begin to cover how my clients feel about it. And that is why the watermarks exist and are going to remain. Any snarky comments regarding them will be marked as spam. :bulletred:

Please do not copy, trace, alter, or redistribute this anywhere in any way, shape, or form!

This design was created specifically for the commissioner's use only. If you would like a design custom created for you, drop me a note or see my FAQ journal entry here: [link] if you need more info.

tribal designs are not just supposed to be calligraphic styled strokes you know.
theres a lot of flowing that needs to be going on that just doesnt show in your work. all the points need to be flowing into similar directions, creating nice rhythm. you have random chunks of fur sticking out into nowhere and not flowing with anything.
this is not a nice flowing design, its more like a lineart with varying line width :/
sorry if that all seems a little harsh but for someone who does commission work, you should really know more about what you're doing.

Well, this is more of a tribal-esque style she's developed over the years to fit her normal style. Same with her Celtic knotwork, she comes up with the designs up as she goes to fit the whole picture.

Though its interesting about the points, never dawned on me that they did that. It would be kinda hard to make fur look like it should and have it all point the same direction though, so I guess Wild has to take a little creative license to make it work.

A tribal picture? I hardly ever see these on Deviantart, all you ever see is photography.
