Artist's Comments

My first DevStamp. :aww: I used $zilla774 's stamp template and ~Mr-Stamp 's tutorial. Even with all that help it still took me forever to figure out what I was doing. ^^;

Anyway, a stamp of a Thylacine since I felt DevART was severely lacking in a variety of stamps featuring this animal. Probably my favorite creature in the cryptozoology collection. :love: Thylacines are a marsupial from Tasmania and the last one known to man died in captivity in 1936. Supposedly extinct for over seventy years, there are still sightings of this creature on Tasmania today.

To learn more about the Thylacine, also known as the Tasmanian Wolf or Tasmanian Tiger, please see here: [link]

Stamp image found on Google images. Text and little heart added by me later. :heart:

Feel free to add this stamp to your journal or anywhere you see fit. Spread the Thylacine love and help people realize the awesome creatures that are at stake when preventative measures against their extinctions aren't taken.

Critiques welcome!

ok ive comment before i remembered i could do this now lol

first off i would like to say congrats on piccing such an original animal, few people know about this awesomly cute creature and seening this inspires me to make a oc of such an animal X3

anyways i dont know much about stamps but i think it would be even better it you, did some of just the thylacines face or have a closer look of its body, the writing is nice but maybe alittle pale, i like the heart in the corner its a nice touch.

all in all i think this is really good and i hope to see more from you about this animal XD XD XD

I remember studying this animal back in what... fifth grade? In my opinion, compared to everyone else's kangaroos, koalas, guinea pigs, snakes, and birds, I was the only one to get an already extinct animal... that looked like a dog. I would have said marsupial, but thats what a kangaroos is. lol.

I still think there a few out there. I doubt we had killed them all off because we were idiots. There probably... underground, or something. :P

Also known as the Tasmanian Tiger. I just drew one recently for an animal lover type website as an example of an animal that recently went extinct due to humans. (Because Dinosaurs have been gone so long it's easier to not miss them than it is a tasmanian tiger)
Anywho, awesome stamp :)
