Standing Howling Flame Wolf Design by WildSpiritWolf Standing Howling Flame Wolf Design by WildSpiritWolf
This is :iconjshopkins: 's completed commission of a standing howling flame wolf.

:bulletred: I do apologize for the obnoxious watermarks but they have been put in place to help cut down on the prolific theft of my artwork as well as to protect the commissioned art that was designed for my clients' use. It is an intensely frustrating thing seeing a design you worked so hard to create being reposted or even sold elsewhere without your knowledge or consent and that does not even begin to cover how my clients feel about it. And that is why the watermarks exist and are going to remain. Any snarky comments regarding them will be marked as spam. :bulletred:

Please do not copy, trace, alter, or redistribute this anywhere in any way, shape, or form!

This design was created specifically for the commissioner's use only. If you would like a design custom created for you, drop me a note or see my FAQ journal entry here: [link] if you need more info.

Lineart: Micron Pen Size 03
Color: Copic Markers

Something like that with three tribal animals would currently run at $130.

Please check out my FAQ section found here: [link] for commission info and terms, thanks! :)

This is powerfully grand. The combination of the wolf within the flame is incredible. With the openly wolf portion only being the front paws is amazing. Everything else is remarkably blended into the flame. It's to where you can see the animal clearly, but if you pass by fast you could miss it. Great job. This offers profound respect, my friend. Congrats on this creation.

Fav'd, as you should know.

Thank you for asking.

The designs in my gallery are solely for the use of my customers who originally paid to have me custom design them and they are not for public use or any kind of alteration other than myself or my clients. However, if you're interested in placing an order for a similar custom design of your own, I'd be happy to work with you on it.

Or, if you would like to purchase one of my pre-made designs that are available for license of $15 USD each, please click here: [link]

And because Wild also drew the original you copied.

I didn't copy, i used a version that was copied about 3 or 4 years ago. To copy is to use something drawn or made by another and claim it as your. I got the picture off the internet, and so used it for my own personal use. I never took credit for the picture. I am just concerned that the same photo turns up on a subscribed account 3 or 4 years after i used the same photo to decorate my textbooks.

No, to copy is to make a duplicate of an image or document (as per any dictionary definition), regardless of claim of ownership or credit (and is still just as illegal if you did not gain permission of the original creator) and you yourself said "copy" in your original comment. That, however, is not my point.

My point is, and as I said in the first place, WildSpirit is the original artist of the image you used 3 or 4 years ago. If you take a minute and go back into her gallery, you'll find the original image there. Its not likely to be *exactly* the same image either, it is probably very similar because that is most likely what Wild was asked for - which happens alot. People like a design, but because it belongs solely to the original commissioner and cannot be bought by a third party, she's asked to do a similar one instead.

Aah, i understand... When i looked back on the photo i noticed subtle differences between mine and hers.

Anyway, the picture's gathering dust somewhere underneath a whole lot of unused stuff, so i doubt i'll see it any time soon. As i have said over and over, i do not want to take credit for it, and i do not want to take credit for it, i am just genuinely confused as to how i have the picture when it was *apparently* released a week or so ago. Now that i know the details, i understand. I just hope nobody comes online with the same predicament i have, and react the wrong way about it. I do not want to accuse anybody, i want to keep this as peaceful as possible. That is all for now, i guess.
Thankyou for clearing up my confusion.

Aah... okay. Don't worry, I am not accusing anyone of theft or copying, i'm just concerned... and confused.
I never took credit for the image i drew on my book, i just used it because it was pretty.
