I have been yearning to work in this medium ever since I saw a different artist here on DevART use butcher's blood to create some simple but intriguing "watercolor" images of some rabbits. The opportunity to try it myself jumped out at me today after I wounded my finger.
And no, I did not wound myself on purpose. Never have and I never plan to. I was out doing yardwork and accidentally crunched my right forefinger inbetween the handle of the pick-ax and the dead tree stump I was trying to remove. Oddly enough, my finger didn't hurt when it happened and still doesn't hurt (though it tickled rather badly every time I'd dip into it to recoat my paintbrush). I'm going to go clean up now...
