Thank you for the compliments! :D  It usually takes me about 5-7 hours to add color to an average sized colored piece.

ohhhh so prismacolor just goes on evenly, without any signs of blending? because ij ust use regular Crayola colored pencils and if I tried that style, it'd look like I was blending the colors. I also love how you can't see the direction of the pencil lines. how do you do that? Sorry for all the questions, I just love your traditional art.

Thanks!

Prismacolor does blend and much better than Crayola pencils at that. The individual fur pieces must be sketched out and maintained during all layers of colors. It takes a lot of work but has great results.

I get rid of my pencil lines by using the Prismacolor colorless blender. :)

no problem! ^^

wow... that does sound like it takes a lot of work, but as you said, it does have great results! and they are visible so you can see time and effort were definitely there! thanks so much for answering those questions. You don't mind if I try that style out do you? (you know, when I get some prismacolor, and to that level, lol)

She sure can! However, since she does not do requests/suggestions, it would have to be a commission.

If this is a compliment, then fantastic... but otherwise, please do not. The images in Wild's gallery belong strictly to the people who commissioned her and many of them have very deep, personal meanings to the commissioners. The watermarks are there for a reason.

You can, however, commission her for something similar that is all your own.

I used cool greys instead of my usual warm greys so as to better match the blue flames. I usually use the warms so I too like the different look it lends to this piece. :D

Really? Awesome. :D I was thinking you did something different in shading the white. I was thinking using blues, but I couldn't really pinpoint it. ^^; In my pieces I actually really enjoy doing new things with shading. With this one here [link] , I gave it a purplish/blue tint with the shading instead of coloring the dragon itself with blues and purples.

Oh! You're right. I did add some faint blues to the shading on the white areas. You know, because of the blue flames flickering around him. :D Maybe I should have made the blue highlights more apparent.
