Artist's Comments

I gave up with my new Copic markers after a few scattered doodles this morning and dug into some commission work before breaking for lunch and doing some serious housecleaning in my room this afternoon and evening. I got an itch to pull them out again tonight after I climbed into bed and wanted to try my hand at something a little more serious than just doodles. Also, I didn't use watercolor paper this time. It's just too absorbent for my tastes.

Here's what came of it...isn't he cute? :love: Puppy idea taken from a doodle in my sketch book and the markings/colors were inspired by Sabarika's characters.

That is some amazing work!!!

It really looks like an animated caractor. You would do good in animation.

Thank you! My sister was actually looking over my little pile of markers this morning and wanted to know what that blue/green color combo would look like. So I tried it. :D

Merf...and you should see the original. The scanner totally ate the best part of the colors up. :shakefist: I'll need to find a way to adjust the scanner settings so that everyone can see the pretty vibrant colors of the originals. >_<
