Children Of Chaos

"In the beginning everyone was one, each fitting in perfect and harmonious unity. So remarkably as one, in fact, that upon inspection, it was indiscernable as to if they were all separate beings forming one or if they were one being altogether.

Time passed and things began to change. Disagreements arose and arguments took shape. These differences between them began to chafe and tear at the being as a whole. What was once a splendidly crafted shape of one was now pulling in various directions, ripping and tearing them apart from the core. This new hurt and pain of being torn in multiple directions transfomed them into a grotesquely hideous creature whose past unification was now but a distant memory. What once was one, whole and complete, was now separate conflicting beings all born of the chaos within."

Concept for the art is mostly taken from something in my dream last night and the idea behind the story is partially from the dream and partially from various other musings I've had recently.
