This is :iconscorpio11391: 's completed commission of an alert tribal fox with a paw print on its hip.

:bulletred: I do apologize for the obnoxious watermarks but they have been put in place to help cut down on the prolific theft of my artwork as well as to protect the commissioned art that was designed for my clients' use. It is an intensely frustrating thing seeing a design you worked so hard to create being reposted or even sold elsewhere without your knowledge or consent and that does not even begin to cover how my clients feel about it. And that is why the watermarks exist and are going to remain. Any snarky comments regarding them will be marked as spam. :bulletred:

Please do not copy, trace, alter, or redistribute this anywhere in any way, shape, or form!

This design was created specifically for the commissioner's use only. If you would like a design custom created for you, drop me a note or see my FAQ journal entry here: [link] if you need more info.

Lineart: Micron Pen Size 03

Thank you for asking.

The designs in my gallery are solely for the use of my customers who originally paid to have me custom design them and they are not for public use or any kind of alteration other than myself or my clients. However, if you're interested in placing an order for a similar custom design of your own, I'd be happy to work with you on it.

Or, if you would like to purchase one of my pre-made designs that are available for license of $15 USD each, please click here: [link]

Does nobody read the watermark or artist's comments?

The answer is no, you may not use this. At all. In any way. Period. One person paid for this, so one person can use it.

What you can do is note her about a custom design for yourself, though. :)

Both the artists comments and the watermark on the actual piece say “Do not alter, trace, reuse or redistribute.”

Do not copy: This means you shouldn’t heavily reference the idea or pose or markings without permission nor trace it in any way and claim it as yours.

Do not alter: This means that you cannot take the design and change parts of it to make it “yours.”

Do not reuse: This means that nobody has the right to use this piece in any form.

Do not redistribute: This means that nobody can legally repost this or any alteration of it anywhere in real life or on the internet without given permission.

Also in bold letters in the artist’s comments is “This design was created specifically for the commissioner's use only.” Then, of course, there is the whole :icondonotuseplz::iconmyartplz:.

That being said, I don't see how you could have needed more clarification, but whatever...

That is, unfortunately, also one of Wild's designs that was STOLEN and reproduced without her knowledge or consent.

A little research would have shown you that the tag you bought was originally in Wild's gallery from several years back, but the fact that you not only were big enough to admit you were wrong but apologized speaks volumes about your character and maturity :)

There are plenty of people Wild and those of us who try to help her out have run into who arent big enough to admit when they're wrong, never mind apologizing for it.

Ps... you may consider talking to Wild about the tag, since you're against stealing. I'm sure you two could come to an agreement that compensates Wild for the tag and makes it more legit for you so you can enjoy having it again instead of feeling crappy about having a stolen piece :) Just an idea!

Yeah x,D I didn't think about it as much as I ought have before saying something. And thank you so much! I try to be.... Humble? I think that's close enough to what I mean. Anyways, how I see it was we were kind of in opposite yet similar situations, and one of us was wrong-- me. If that makes any sense to you? Lol.

Okay, I'll have to contact, err.... Him or her? I'm honestly not sure as I'm not terribly familiar with Wild *FACEPALM* I do feel bad about it and I think that would be a great idea. The shop I bought it from possibly still sells them, so maybe I can give a link to that, too. Perhaps something can be done.
